What You’ll Find at Affordable Art Fair Houston
The Houston presentation will bring together several different parts of my practice.
My work is rooted in geometric abstraction, color, repetition and structure. I’m interested in how simple shapes, lines and carefully considered color relationships can create movement, energy and emotional impact.
Each series approaches these ideas differently, which is why I’m especially excited to have works from several bodies of work presented together.
The Jelly Beans Series

The Jelly Beans Series is one of the most colorful and playful parts of my practice.
The compositions are built from repeated rounded forms arranged through deliberate patterns and contrasting color relationships. There is a sense of structure within the repetition, but the interaction between individual colors creates movement and energy across each composition.
The series explores how simple geometric forms can become visually immersive through scale, rhythm and color.
Selected works from the Jelly Beans Series will be available through Artseeker Gallery at Booth C2 during the fair.
The Gem Series

Works from my Gem Series will also be part of the Houston presentation.
The series draws inspiration from the faceted structure of gemstones, using geometric shapes and carefully placed color to create compositions that feel both precise and dynamic.
Rather than representing gemstones literally, the works explore the visual idea of facets, shifting planes and intersecting areas of color.
The Gem Series reflects my ongoing interest in creating complexity from relatively simple geometric structures.
The Pop Stripes Series

The Pop Stripes Series takes a more graphic approach to color and composition.
These works are built from bold bands of color arranged to create rhythm, balance and visual movement. Individual colors are important, but the composition is ultimately created through the relationship between them.
The simplicity of the stripe allows color itself to become the focus.
For collectors drawn to bold contemporary art, colorful geometric abstraction and clean modern compositions, the Pop Stripes works offer a different expression of the same ideas that run throughout my practice.
Exclusive Original Works on Paper
I’m also especially excited about a selection of original works on paper created for the fair.
These pieces are currently not available anywhere else, making Affordable Art Fair Houston the first opportunity for collectors to see and acquire them.
They also offer a more accessible entry point for collectors interested in owning an original piece of my work.
The works on paper carry the same interest in color, geometry and structured composition found throughout my larger paintings, but in a smaller and more intimate format.
For someone beginning an original art collection, smaller works can be an excellent place to start. They can work independently, become part of an existing collection, or be combined with other pieces to create a larger gallery wall.
Visitors to Artseeker Gallery at Booth C2 will have first access to this group of works.
Affordable Art Fair Comes to Houston
Affordable Art Fair Houston will bring together local, national and international galleries presenting original contemporary artwork across a wide range of styles and price points.
The Houston edition offers collectors the opportunity to see a large amount of artwork in one setting, discover artists they may not have encountered before and speak directly with galleries about the work they represent.
I’m particularly excited that my work will be included in the first Houston edition of the fair.
For me, having the work shown in a new city is an opportunity for people who may have only encountered it online to experience the actual scale, color and details of each piece.
Presented by Artseeker Gallery, Brooklyn, New York
My work at Affordable Art Fair Houston will be presented by Artseeker Gallery, based in Brooklyn, New York.
Art fairs create an opportunity for galleries to present several artists within a curated booth, allowing collectors to experience the works in conversation with one another.
Throughout the fair, Artseeker Gallery representatives will be available at Booth C2 to answer questions about the pieces, provide additional information and assist with acquisitions.
If you are attending the fair specifically to see my work, Booth C2 is the place to go.
Why Seeing the Work in Person Matters
Color is central to my practice, and it can be difficult to fully communicate through a screen.
The relationship between individual colors, the scale of the forms and the overall proportions of a composition can feel quite different when a piece is experienced in person.
This is particularly true of geometric abstraction, where small changes in spacing, scale and color can completely alter the way a composition feels.
Affordable Art Fair Houston gives collectors the opportunity to experience several of my series in person and see how the different bodies of work relate to one another.
