Original Art for Offices and Corporate Spaces
You spend a lot of time at work. The art on your walls should be something you enjoy seeing every day.
I’m Elena Alexander, a geometric abstract painter based in Calgary. I make colourful paintings for people who appreciate clean lines, a strong composition, and a little precision. My work brings together two things I love: the freedom of colour and the satisfaction of getting every shape into place.
If you’re choosing art for your office, I’d love to help you find a painting that feels right for the people who work there and the clients who visit.
A Place for Colour
Picture a bright geometric painting above a reception desk, a series of striped canvases along a hallway, or one large piece that brings a boardroom together.
Many offices already have a simple palette of white, grey, wood, and glass. That gives colourful art room to stand out. You might pick up a blue from the furniture, introduce warm pinks and oranges, or choose a combination you hadn’t considered until you saw the painting.
My work ranges from quieter compositions to bold, playful pieces. The crisp geometry gives the colours a structure that sits comfortably alongside contemporary furniture and architecture.
For a law firm, accounting practice, or another professional space, there’s plenty of room to choose something with personality.
Find a Painting You Connect With
Start with the paintings you’re drawn to. Is it the colour? The repetition? The way the shapes fit together?
From there, we can look at practical details: the wall dimensions, the furniture below it, and how far away people will be when they see it. A painting beside a desk is experienced differently from one viewed across a large reception area.
If you’re unsure about scale, send me a photograph and measurements of your wall. I can create a digital mockup to help you picture the artwork in place.
Something Made for Your Office
Perhaps a painting catches your eye, but you need a different size. Or you have several walls to consider and would like the works to connect.
I also create custom paintings, including diptychs, triptychs, and coordinated groups. We can explore colours that complement your interior and a composition developed within my geometric style.
Before we begin, we’ll agree on the size, colour direction, price, and timeline.
